CHEESES OPTA<\/h2>\n

It is located in Huete and belongs to a region of Cuenca where cheese has always been made, at first in a more traditional way by the many shepherds who made their cheese from their own livestock, and already in 1967 in a more industrial way with the creation of the “REGIONAL COOPERATIVE OF THE FIELD NUESTRA SE\u00d1ORA DE LA MERCED” thus opening the market to QUESOS OPTA. In 1989 the cooperative became LACTO-GANADERA DE HUETE S.A. and in 2005 to LACTO-GANADERA RIO MAYOR S.L. part of the RIO MAYOR GROUP.<\/p>\n
